JINPO
“Every creation is a journey of body and soul. Creating intuitively from raw feeling is where my fuel comes from.”
Born to a Hong Kong-Korean family, Jinpo is a versatile artist spanning film editing, dance, and visual arts. Since 2012, he has been deeply engaged in cinematic editing, notably collaborating closely with legendary cinematographer Christopher Doyle for a 5-year period on acclaimed films and exhibitions including Hong Kong Trilogy, The White Girl, and Light up. Expanding his expertise beyond cinema, he has also brought his masterful editing skills to television production, shaping compelling documentary content for Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK).
Beyond the screen, Jinpo is an experienced breakdance and contemporary dancer who founded the Osaka-based dance event Bloom. Also an active illustrator and designer, he has showcased his work in a collaborative exhibition with Mira and serves as a key designer for the art sticker brand “Stickart.” He views himself as an ever-evolving creator, continually walking on a journey of growth.
